Our Story

Mados was born from a lifetime of being tall.

For as long as I can remember, I've towered over the people around me. As I grew into adulthood, so did the frustration — trousers that never reached my ankles, tops that left my midriff exposed, sleeves that stopped well short of my wrists. As a tall woman, finding clothes that actually fit became an exhausting battle. Eventually, I stopped looking for certain things altogether, because I already knew the answer would be no.

But it was my family that changed everything. Surrounded by tall siblings, and watching my nieces and nephews grow, I found myself wondering — would they face the same struggle? Would they spend years feeling like clothing simply wasn't made for them?

I decided they wouldn't. Not if I could help it.

That's how Mados was created. The name itself is a tribute to the people who inspired it — a blend of my nieces' and nephews' names, woven together just like the brand itself.

But Mados isn't just about length. It's about quality — and that matters just as much to us.

The fashion industry has quietly lowered its standards. Fabrics that pill after a few washes. Stitching that unravels within months. Clothes that look great on the hanger but fall apart in real life. We've all been there, and we've all accepted it as normal. At Mados, we refuse to.
